I am an amature woodworker, though I grew up in a construction family. I enjoy working with wood but do not often find the time. Here are some of the current projects I am working on:

  • Work table

I built this based on an article I saw that desribed a set of knock down legs for a workbench/table. I wanted a solid base that does not need complex joinery. This base provided this. It uses simple joints held together by bolts. A solid core door functions as the top.

  • Router table

I have a Craftsman tablesaw, which is the same as the Ryobi BT3000SX. I added the wide table kit to the tablesaw and used a piece of oak finished plywood for the table. My router is hung from a Rousseau (sp?) insert and uses an Incra Jig fence.

  • Kitchen workstation

Our kitchen has insufficient counter space. I would like to build a rolling workstation to provide both more counter space and more storage. It will be approximately four feet wide, two feet deep and three feet tall.
